Hollywood DivaTake One Guess' debut single "Hollywood Diva" was released early 2024. Telling the story of an actress who moves to LA to chase her dream of being famous only to abandon everyone who helped get her there. Elijah wrote the song to mirror the real life issue of how people you thought were your friends, abandon you and the heartache you feel when their true character is revealed. Solely to Blame
A song written to explain the trials and tribulations of being an adult, Solely to Blame is Elijah's attempt to come to terms with being accountable. Everyone feels like they have fallen behind or they don't understand from time to time, and this song represents a scattered thought pattern with the sting of being the guilty party. Elijah wrote the song at age 16 initially and performed it live to a group of his peers at a theater banquet. Anthem
Fed up with the "my side vs. your side" of modern politics, the latest single Anthem is a cry to the powers that be to step aside and let new voices and ideas be heard. Elijah wrote the song in the aftermath of political hate storm that followed the 2020 elections. Not backing either candidate Elijah felt a sense of political autonomy, desiring to get to know people rather than lumping them into some red or blue category. The imagery for the song depicts a crowd of people who feel the same. When red and blue mix together they become purple. Fittingly that is Elijah's favorite color. "Dear Emma" tells the true story of Elijah meeting a special person and the joy he experienced during their times together. As things progress it is clear that Emma has to leave, and it brings up the feelings of loneliness and regret. The Story
Elijah Logan is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who hails from Columbus, Ohio. He is a performer in every sense of the word and is clearly most comfortable and his authentic self when on stage. While that claim might not sound unique, it’s all the more compelling for Elijah who, at age 3, was diagnosed with Autism.
Elijah found his passion for the stage in 8th grade when a caring teacher recognized his hidden talent and cast him in the high school musical production. Elijah credits that moment as one that afforded him to find his voice – both literally and figuratively – and changed his life. |
Since learning the drums at age 12, Elijah has taught himself to play piano, bass, and guitar. A prolific songwriter, Elijah continues to grow and expand his sound. He has performed live throughout central Ohio as well as Central Florida and Mexico.
Like any musician, Elijah has big aspirations and is undeterred in chasing after them. However, he also has a dual purpose – to use his talent and voice to encourage others, especially for those who might be labeled with a diagnosis. His message is as straightforward as his music – be yourself, be determined without limitations, and invite others in to see who you will become.
